How to syncronize your divelog from DivingLog 6.0 to the DivingLog app on your Android phone

First prepare on the laptop

  • Google drive must be running, and set up to syncronize a local folder to your Google Drive in the cloud: Google drive must be running
  • Open the DivingLog 6.0 application.
  • Open your logbook:
    Open the divelog in DivingLog 6.0
  • Sync or export to your Google drive:
    Export to Google Drive
  • Choose "Settings":
    Google drive gearknob
  • Choose a folder you can open on the phone:
    Choose a Google Drive folder
  • Choose "Upload - Upload your dives to Google Drive":
    Upload your dives to Google Drive
  • Make sure the "Last synced" line is updated:
    Last updated to Google Drive
  • The files shpould be updated online too:
    Files updated online

Then update the logbook on the phone

  • Open the Diving Log app.
  • Use the burger menu to go to "Manage Logbooks":
    Choose "Manage logbooks"
  • In the top right, touch the three dots, to open the menu, and choose "Import":
    Choose import
  • Choose the newly updated Jesper.sql file:
    Choose new logbook file
  • Choose "Yes" when asked if you want to overwrite the existing logbook:
    Choose yes to overwrite existing logbook
  • In the top left, use the left-arrow to go back to the logbook.
  • You should now see the newest dives on top of the logbook:
